Russian missile hits farm in Sumy region: 12 injured while harvesting

Russia launched missile strikes on an agricultural enterprise in the Sumy region. Around 30 units of machinery were damaged, and 12 workers harvesting crops were injured, the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office and Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, report.
According to the investigation, late in the evening of September 14, around 11:00 p.m. local time, Russian forces, according to preliminary information, launched two missile strikes on the territory of an enterprise in the Boromlia community of the Okhtyrka district.
“The enemy’s target was a peaceful field where agricultural machinery was working,” Hryhorov said.
As a result of the attack, people harvesting crops were injured. Twelve workers sustained wounds.
The Head of the Regional Military Administration specified that 11 men were hospitalized, one of them in serious condition.
About 30 units of agricultural machinery were also damaged, including tractors and combines.
Prosecutors, together with law enforcement officers, documented the consequences of the attack and launched a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Shelling of Sumy region
Earlier, Russian troops launched missile strikes on the village of Bytytsia in the Sumy region. As a result of the attack, people were killed, a fire broke out, and residential houses were destroyed.
Russian forces also attacked an industrial zone on the outskirts of Sumy with drones, which killed a security guard. His body was found under the rubble.
