Ukrainian railway situation
Russian troops terrorized Konotop for several days.
And on January 27, Russians attacked a passenger train running between Chop, Kharkiv, and Barvinkove in the Kharkiv region with drones, killing and injuring passengers.
After that, Ukrainian Railways announced the cancellation of some trains and temporary changes to the suburban train schedule in the Kharkiv region.
On the night of February 8, Russian troops again attacked the railway infrastructure in the Chernihiv region, resulting in the cancellation of many trains.
Earlier, Ukrainian Railways also restricted train traffic between Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia amid attacks on infrastructure and the detection of Russian drones near the routes. In recent days, Russian drones have carried out at least 7 strikes on railway facilities in Ukraine.
