Russia launches over 70 Shahed drones this morning: Air defense's work reported

The Russian army launched 77 Shahed-type attack drones over Ukraine on the morning of Tuesday, April 22. As a result of the attack, three regions were affected, according to the Air Force.
Since 08:00 AM Kyiv time on Tuesday, April 22, the enemy attacked with 77 strike drones and imitator UAVs of various types from launch areas in:

Bryansk, Russia,

Primorsk-Akhtarsk, Russia.
The airstrike was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
As of 06:00 PM, the downing of 38 Shahed-type strike drones and other types of UAVs has been confirmed in the east, north, south, and central parts of the country. Additionally, 31 enemy imitator UAVs were lost in various locations, with no negative consequences.
Furthermore, today the Russian forces launched over 130 guided aerial bombs at Ukrainian territory, one of which hit a high-rise building in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
As a result of the enemy's attack, the Kharkiv region, the Cherkasy region, and Zaporizhzhia were affected.
Attacks on Ukraine
This morning, an air alert was declared in several regions of Ukraine as the Russian army launched several groups of strike drones across the country.
In particular, reports mentioned the activation of air defense systems in the Kyiv region.
It was later confirmed that Russia attacked Kharkiv with drones. In just one hour, at least 12 drone strikes were recorded in the city.
As a result of the strikes, there are casualties and destruction, with fires breaking out. According to preliminary data from rescuers, eight people were injured in the enemy attack.
