Starting at 7:00 a.m., Russian forces launched around 140 attack drones at Ukraine. More than 100 of them were jet-powered, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The military said that most of the enemy drones were heading toward Kyiv.

"According to preliminary data, air defense forces shot down or suppressed around 120 of the 140 attack drones during the day. Do not ignore the air raid alerts," the statement said.

The Air Force also emphasized that as of 7:00 p.m., more than 10 Russian jet-powered drones remained in Ukrainian airspace.

It should be recalled that overnight, Russian forces launched a massive attack on logistics infrastructure in the Kyiv region. As a result, distribution centers belonging to the Fora, Budynok Igrashok and Comfy retail chains were damaged or destroyed.

Around noon today, a Russian drone struck a hypermarket in Kharkiv’s Osnovianskyi district. One person was killed and five others were injured in the attack, and the building was destroyed.
