Russia launches massive strike on Ukraine's thermal power plants - Ministry of Energy

Russian forces launched a massive attack on one of Ukraine's thermal power plants today, July 24. Energy crews are working to eliminate the consequences of the strike, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reports.
The Ministry emphasized that the targeted facility has no connection to any military sites.
"Such deliberate attacks are yet another example of the aggressor's terror and genocidal policy. It's another attempt to intimidate Ukrainians and deprive us of light and heat," the statement says.
The Ministry of Energy added that workers are already on site, doing everything possible to restore the power plant's operation as soon as possible.
