At night, the enemy launched an attack on the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih area using Shaheds and guided aerial bombs (KABs). Air defense was active, reported Head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul and Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak.

On the night of October 8, Russian forces attacked the Kryvyi Rih area with Shaheds and KABs. Air defense was active. A total of 29 strike UAVs were shot down over the region, reported Oleksandr Vilkul.

Strikes occurred in the Kryvyi Rih district, as well as in the Zelenodolsk and Novopil communities.

The Regional Military Administration showed photos of the aftermath of the strikes.

A woman and a man were injured. They were hospitalized in moderate condition. Fires broke out and were extinguished. The infrastructure was damaged.

Attacks continued on Nikopol and Marhanets. The enemy utilized Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, FPV drones, and artillery. Three people were injured: an 18-year-old woman and two men, aged 26 and 45. All were hospitalized. A fire broke out and was brought under control. A business enterprise, a religious organization, approximately fifteen private houses, a five-story building, three utility structures, six vehicles, and a gas pipeline were damaged.

In the Synelnykove area, the Mezhova and Pokrovska communities were targeted by UAVs. A fire broke out on the balcony of an apartment building and was extinguished. A private house was partially destroyed, and six more were damaged.

"All services, public transport, hospitals, and social institutions in Kryvyi Rih are operating," emphasized Oleksandr Vilkul.

Attacks on Kryvyi Rih

Reports about the attack on Kryvyi Rih appeared around midnight on October 8.

Oleksandr Vilkul reported that 30 Shahed-type strike drones were approaching the city.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported several groups of UAVs heading toward the city.

Later, monitoring channels and the Suspilne TV channel, citing their correspondents, reported that explosions had been heard in the city.

The previous massive attack on Kryvyi Rih took place on September 7. At that time, explosions were heard in the city due to an attack by Shaheds and missiles.

The publication Pershyi Kryvorizkyi wrote that after the ballistic missile attack in Kryvyi Rih, there were power supply disruptions.
