Russia launches massive airstrike on Kharkiv region: Killed and injured reported
Yesterday's powerful Russian airstrike on the residential sector of the village of Bilyi Kolodyazh in the Vovchansk community of Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region, killed 3 people and injured 8 others. State Emergency Service of Ukraine showed photos of the aftermath of the Russian attack
According to the rescuers, the Russian occupiers launched a massive airstrike on the village on Thursday evening, July 11.
"Three people were killed (2 men and a woman), and 8 others were injured. The explosions destroyed residential buildings and outbuildings," the SESU says in a statement.
In addition, the SESU adds, that fires broke out on the spot due to the Russian attack.
"Two one-story barrack-type apartment buildings and outbuildings with a total area of about 1800 square meters were burning at different addresses," the rescuers say.
The State Emergency Service says that rescuers had to extinguish the fires under the threat of repeated attacks by the Russian occupiers.

Situation in Kharkiv and region
Since the beginning of May, Russia has been trying to launch a second offensive in the Kharkiv region. The Russian occupiers managed to advance to the outskirts of Vovchansk. In addition, Kharkiv itself was subjected to large-scale shelling.
As previously stated by the Kharkiv region governor, Oleh Syniehubov, Russia is using Kharkiv as a springboard for testing modified ammunition.
It was also reported earlier that on June 26, the Russian invaders conducted an air strike on the village of Derhachi, Kharkiv region. Children were among the victims. On June 29, the Russian Armed Forces dropped 4 air bombs on Dergachi, previously - UMPB D-30.
