From the evening of April 2 to the morning of April 3, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Ukraine using drones and missiles. Several regions came under fire, with deaths, injuries, and damage already reported.

As Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko warned, the enemy is attacking with a large number of targets and urged citizens to remain cautious.

After 9 a.m., it became known that the Vinnytsia region is under an air attack by Russia. This was reported by the regional military administration.
Correspondents of Suspilne (Ukrainian public broadcaster) also report that an explosion was heard in Cherkasy and on the outskirts of the city.

There is information that Tu-95 and Tu-160 bombers were scrambled, said Yurii Ihnat, Head of Communications of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"If there are launches and missiles appear, we will definitely report it," he emphasized.
According to Ihnat, many drones are being recorded in the following regions: Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia region, Cherkasy, and a large group of UAVs is moving south from the Sumy region.
As of 07:00, about 240 drones had been recorded, and now there are already more than 400. There is also information about other launches from various directions.

According to the Ministry of Energy, due to hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in a number of regions have been temporarily left without an electricity supply.
This concerns Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.

As informed by Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko, enemy attack drones are currently being recorded on the approaches to the capital.
In addition, the movement of cruise missiles has been recorded in Ukrainian airspace.
He urged citizens to take care of their safety and remain in shelters until the all-clear is given.
Attack on the Poltava region
This morning, enemy drones were recorded falling in the Myrhorod and Poltava districts.
As a result of the attacks, private houses and farm facilities were damaged.
The consequences are being clarified. No information about casualties has been reported so far, the regional military administration said.
The attack is currently ongoing, and residents have been urged to remain in shelters.
Attack on Kharkiv
Kharkiv has been under massive strikes for over 24 hours. The enemy is attacking the city with drones, primarily of the Geran type, as well as with missiles.
According to the prosecutor's office, on April 2 at about 22:35, a UAV strike was recorded in the Kyivskyi district. A residential building was damaged. A 27-year-old woman and her one-month-old son were injured — they had an acute stress reaction.
In the Osnovianskyi district, a strike caused a fire in an office building. A security guard was injured.
By morning, the attacks continued. At around 02:30, a drone hit the area near the cable car in Central Park, damaging infrastructure.
At approximately 04:00, Russians carried out missile strikes — residential buildings were damaged. A 63-year-old woman was injured, and an 18-year-old girl suffered acute shock.

Homes damaged in the Zaporizhzhia region, four people injured
In Zaporizhzhia, as a result of a Russian attack that took place late in the evening, damage to residential buildings was recorded.
According to local authorities, apartment buildings in two districts of the city came under attack.
In the Zavodskyi district, five buildings were damaged — windows were shattered and balconies damaged.
In the Oleksandrivskyi district, another building was affected — windows were shattered, and the roof was damaged.
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration clarified that as a result of attacks on the regional center and Zaporizhzhia district, four people were injured.
Attack on the Sumy region
In the Sumy region on April 3, Russians struck the Shostka community with guided aerial bombs.
One person is known to have been killed, and three others are injured and in hospital, including a 29-year-old woman in serious condition.

In Sumy, drones hit the Kovpakivskyi district and the city center. Non-residential buildings and cars were damaged.
Dnipropetrovsk region under attack
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russians attacked four districts nearly 30 times with missiles, drones, and artillery.
In particular:
- In Pavlohrad and Verkhivtseve, infrastructure was damaged;
- In the Nikopol area, apartment buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged;
- In the Kryvyi Rih area, the Zelenodolsk community was attacked.
Missile threat
According to monitoring channels, Russians carried out launch maneuvers with Tu-160 aircraft. If this is not an imitation, missiles over Ukraine may appear this time in the morning, within an hour.
The Ukrainian Air Force has not yet confirmed the takeoff of Tu-160 and Tu-95MS.
