Russian forces launched a drone attack on Odesa during the night of June 10.

RBC-Ukraine has compiled everything known so far about the nighttime drone strike on Odesa.

When the attack started

Today at 12:38 a.m. Kyiv time, an air raid alert was declared in Odesa. Almost immediately, explosions were heard across the city as air defense forces engaged the incoming threat. According to local authorities, the city was under a drone attack.

About an hour later, the all-clear was announced in Odesa.

Attack aftermath

As a result of the nighttime strike by armed drones in Odesa, the administrative section of a maternity hospital was damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported.

At the same time, there was a hit on a residential building. Preliminary reports indicate one fatality and three hospitalized, with the number of casualties still being confirmed.

The attack claimed the life of a 59-year-old man, and at least four others were injured.

Additionally, several residential buildings in the city center suffered significant damage.

The drone attack in Odesa also completely destroyed the administrative building of the emergency medical services station, causing a fire on site. Several ambulances were damaged, but thankfully, no staff members were injured.

All relevant services continue working to manage the aftermath of the strike.

Russian attack on Ukraine – June 10

In the early hours of June 10, a nationwide air raid alert was declared across Ukraine. Russian drones targeted Kyiv along with several other cities.

Explosions were reported in the capital. Kyiv’s mayor, Vitalii Klitschko, confirmed that air defense systems were active. There were also reports of an incoming missile.
