On the morning of November 1, Russian forces struck Mykolaiv, using ballistic missiles for the attack, according to Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

According to Kim, an air raid alert was declared across the region at 6:57 a.m. He warned that the Russians had launched ballistic missiles, and soon after, explosions were heard in the city.

"As a result of the missile strike on Mykolaiv, there are injured. Emergency services are working," Kim said around 8 a.m.

Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych also reported that there were casualties as a result of the attack. He assured that all necessary emergency services are currently operating on site.

He added that fighting had taken place in the region overnight. In particular, the enemy shelled the Kutsurub community in the Mykolaiv district twice.

One of the attacks damaged three private houses, one apartment building, and a power line in the village of Dmytrivka. Electricity supply has already been restored, and there were no casualties from these strikes.

Details of the missile attack on Mykolaiv are being clarified.

Shelling across Ukraine

It should be noted that on the evening of October 31, Russian forces launched Shahed attack drones against Ukraine.

Earlier that night, the occupiers attacked energy facilities in the Odesa region with combat drones, causing a fire.

It was also reported that Russian forces carried out a series of drone strikes on Sumy. As a result, 15 people, including children, sought medical assistance.

In addition, that same night, Russian troops targeted railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. Several train cars and a depot were damaged in the strikes.
