Russian forces launched around 430 drones and 18 missiles, including ballistic and aeroballistic types, across Ukraine overnight, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.

"Since the night, our emergency services have been working at the sites of the Russian strikes. A vile attack. As of now, it is already known that dozens of people have been injured, including children and a pregnant woman. Unfortunately, four people have been killed," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, the overnight strike involved around 430 drones and 18 missiles, including ballistic and aeroballistic ones.

"A deliberately calculated attack aimed at causing as much harm as possible to people and civilian infrastructure. In Kyiv alone, there is destruction in dozens of apartment buildings. The Embassy of Azerbaijan was damaged by fragments of an Iskander missile. The main direction of the attack is Kyiv," the head of state emphasized.

He also noted that the enemy had struck the Kyiv region, the Kharkiv region, and the Odesa region. According to preliminary data, in the morning, the Russians used a Zircon missile in the Sumy region.

"Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, has already reported on the progress of rescue operations on the ground. Air Force Commander Anatolii Kryvonozhko also reported on the results of the air defense work," Zelenskyy added.

The president also stated that Ukraine is responding to these strikes with long-range capabilities, and the world must stop these attacks on life through sanctions.

"Russia is still able to sell oil and build its schemes. All of this must be stopped. A lot of work is underway with partners to strengthen air defense, but it is not enough. Additional systems and interceptor missiles are needed. Europe and the United States can play a significant role. We count on real decisions," Zelenskyy concluded.

Russia launched a massive strike on several regions of Ukraine during the night of November 14. The main vector of the combined attack was the capital.

As of the morning, 26 people were reported injured and four killed in Kyiv as a result of the massive overnight attack.

Russian forces also attacked the Kyiv region during the night. The strike led to a series of fires, resulting in six injuries.
