Russia launches 141 drones across Ukraine overnight, over 20 hits recorded

Russian troops attacked several regions of Ukraine overnight with strike drones. Most enemy targets were destroyed by air defense forces, but hits were recorded, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"On the night of April 6, the enemy attacked with 141 strike UAVs of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and drones of other types, about 80 of them were Shaheds," the Air Force said.
It is reported that the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 114 enemy UAVs of Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types and drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country.
At the same time, hits of 26 strike drones were recorded in 17 locations, as well as the falling of downed enemy targets in 13 locations.
"The attack is ongoing, several enemy UAVs are in the airspace. Follow safety rules," the Air Force added.
Russian strike on Ukraine on April 6
Russian troops, overnight on April 6, attacked several regions of Ukraine.
In particular, the enemy attacked energy infrastructure in the Chernihiv region at night. The strike left more than 280,000 people without electricity in Chernihiv and Koriukivka districts of Chernihiv region, as well as parts of Kyiv region.
In addition, on the night of April 6, Russian forces carried out a massive strike on residential areas of Odesa. As a result of a strike on a high-rise building, there are dead and wounded.
