Russia launches 139 drones across Ukraine, air defense downs majority

During the night of May 13, Russia attacked Ukraine with 139 strike drones from different directions. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most enemy drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
From evening until morning, Russians attacked with 139 strike drones of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmás types, as well as Parodiya-type imitation drones from directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia, Chauda - temporarily occupied Crimea.
Air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 111 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmás drones and Parodiya-type imitation drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits of 20 strike drones were recorded at 13 locations, as well as debris falling at 4 locations.
"Attack is ongoing, dozens of enemy drones are in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" Air Force warned.
Attacks on Ukraine
During the night of May 13, Russia continued massive drone attacks across Ukraine. Strikes caused deaths, injuries, destruction, and power outages.
In particular, an infrastructure facility was damaged in Kharkiv, causing a fire.
Industrial infrastructure was attacked in the Odesa region.
In Poltava, the enemy targeted the electrical substation. After the drone attack, more than 7 thousand people were left without electricity.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, eight people were killed, and another 11 were injured as a result of an enemy attack.
