Russia launches 10 missiles at Kyiv overnight: S-400 and Iskander General Staff clarifies what missiles Russians used to attack Kyiv on December 13 (Vitalii Nosach, RBC-Ukraine)

On the night of December 13, the Russians attacked Kyiv with ten missiles. The invaders fired S-400 anti-aircraft missiles and Iskander cruise missiles, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Also this day, the Russian occupiers launched another missile attack on Kyiv, using 10 missiles (S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles, Iskander cruise missiles)," the statement says.

The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all the missiles that were flying towards Kyiv.

In addition, the Russians launched 10 Iranian-made kamikaze drones at Ukraine. The air defense forces destroyed all the enemy drones.

What is known about the attack

Last night, Russian invaders attacked Kyiv with missiles. A series of explosions occurred in the capital near the left bank. An air raid alert was announced after the explosions.

There were no direct missile hits in Kyiv, but the falling debris caused damage in at least three districts. According to the latest reports, 53 people were injured in the attack, including children.
