Russia attacked Ukraine again with drones on the night of April 4. The occupiers launched 78 drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The Russian forces launched drones at Ukraine from four directions: Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Kursk. The attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Air defense shot down 42 drones. The air defense worked in the north, east, and center of the country.

Additionally, 22 enemy imitation drones were lost without negative consequences.

Consequences of the Russian attack

During the night, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv again. Seven hits were recorded. According to local authorities, almost all of the strikes hit the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv, with one hit in the Kholodnohirskyi district on an administrative building, where no people were present.

As of the morning, the number of casualties from the attack in Kharkiv rose to four, and 35 people were injured.

Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions were also under attack.

The enemy also targeted Kyiv with drones. There were no hits in the capital, but fires broke out in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region due to the attack. Two people were injured.
