Russia killed parents and children: Details of Voronov family tragedy

July 31 has been declared a day of mourning in Kryvyi Rih for those killed in a Russian missile strike on the village of Radushne. Among the victims of the attack was a large family, including three children, according to the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
The Russian missile struck just a few kilometers from Kryvyi Rih, Zelenskyy's hometown.
"A terrible tragedy. At least six people, including three children, were killed by a Russian missile. Unfortunately, there may be more bad news after the DNA testing is completed," Vilkul said.
He described the victims as "a close-knit, kind, and faithful family" and announced that July 31 would be declared a day of mourning in Kryvyi Rih.

Russia destroys home of large family
According to local authorities, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the village of Radushne in the Kryvyi Rih district during the night of July 30. The attack completely destroyed a private home where a large family lived.
The Novopillia Village Council said the victims were members of the Voronov family.
According to local media, Russia killed 47-year-old Artem Voronov and his 41-year-old wife, Olena.
They were at home with seven of their children: 17-year-old Mark, who was studying to become a railway worker in Kryvyi Rih, and schoolchildren Dominika, 15; Viorika, 14; Zakharii, 12; Azarii Ilai, 11; Federika, 10; and six-year-old Emilia.
According to local media, the family's grandmother said Artem and Olena Voronov had raised ten children and already had three grandchildren.
At the time of the Russian strike, the couple, seven of their younger children, and their one-and-a-half-year-old grandson Artem, who was visiting them, were inside the house. All of them were trapped under the rubble.
The grandmother said the eldest son, Danylo, the father of the toddler who was killed, is currently serving as a captain in the artillery forces. Two other adult children of the family are living abroad: daughter Aurika is in Germany, while son Matvii is in Poland.

There are wounded and missing people
According to preliminary information, eight people, including two children, were injured in the strike. Another five people are considered missing.
The search and rescue operation at the site continued throughout the night.
As previously reported, during the night of July 30, Russian forces launched a combined attack on Ukraine using ballistic missiles and attack drones. Kyiv, as well as the Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, and Lviv regions, came under attack.
One person was killed in the capital, while at least 15 people were injured in Lviv. The deadliest strike was recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where a Russian missile hit a private home in the village of Radushne.
