As of 06:00 on Saturday, August 31, there is one Russian ship in the Black Sea. It is equipped with cruise missiles Kalibr, with a total salvo capacity of up to four missiles, according to the Ukrainian Naval Forces.

At the same time, there are no enemy vessels in the Sea of Azov, as in previous days.

However, three enemy ships have been spotted in the Mediterranean Sea, one of which is carrying Kalibr missiles with a total salvo capacity of up to eight missiles.

Additionally, the military reported that over the past day, in the interests of Russia, Russia, the following vessels transited the Kerch Strait:

  • to the Black Sea: 4 ships, with 1 continuing towards the Bosporus Strait;
  • to the Sea of Azov: 6 ships, with 2 coming from the Bosporus Strait.

The Ukrainian Naval Forces also noted that the Russian Federation continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling Automatic Identification Systems (AIS).

On Monday, August 26, Russia carried out a large-scale attack on Ukraine. Specifically, the enemy launched 127 missiles and 109 strike drones.

For this attack, the Russian forces deployed four missile carriers armed with Kalibr cruise missiles to the Black Sea. Their total salvo capacity was up to 28 missiles.

As a result of air defense operations, 102 enemy missiles were intercepted, including 28 missiles from surface/submarine platforms in the eastern part of the Black Sea. Additionally, the military succeeded in shooting down 99 drones.
