Russia keeps Kalibr missile carrier in Black Sea: Risk of strike remains

Russian troops continue to keep a Kalibr cruise missile carrier in the Black Sea. There is a risk of a missile strike on the territory of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
As of 06:00 a.m. Kyiv time on Monday, April 21, one ship was recorded in the Black Sea, which is a Kalibr cruise missile carrier with a total salvo of up to 6 missiles.
Meanwhile, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov. In the Mediterranean Sea, there are 2 Kalibr carriers with a total salvo of up to 12 missiles.
Also, over the past day, in the interests of Russia, the following vessels passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea - 1 vessel, which continued moving towards the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 6 vessels, of which 3 continued moving from the Bosporus Strait.
"The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS), disabling automatic identification systems," the Ukrainian Navy noted.
Kalibr missile strikes
Since the beginning of the current month, Russia has not brought ships with Kalibr missiles into the waters. However, on April 19 and 20, one enemy vessel was spotted in the Black Sea carrying six of these missiles on board.
The aggressor last launched Kalibr missiles towards Ukraine on April 6. The targets were Kyiv and the region, as well as the southern regions.
