Russia keeps 20 ships in Black Sea, including carriers of Kalibr missiles
As of 6:00 a.m. Kyiv time on November 23, around twenty Russian vessels are present in the Black Sea. Some of these are carriers of sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles, reports the Ukrainian Navy.
Specifically, the military has recorded 20 enemy ships in the Black Sea, 6 of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo of up to 23 missiles.
Meanwhile, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov. However, 2 Russian vessels have been spotted in the Mediterranean Sea, one of which is a carrier of Kalibr missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles.
The Ukrainian Navy also reported that over the past 24 hours, in the interests of Russia, the following occurred:
- to the Black Sea - 0 vessels;
- to the Sea of Azov - 6 vessels, with 0 vessels moving from the Bosporus Strait.
"Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems," the military concluded.
Russian ships with Kalibr missiles in the Black Sea
About a few weeks ago, in early November, the military began recording enemy ships carrying Kalibr missiles in the Black Sea once again.
Since then, the enemy has consistently kept vessels in the sea, which are missile carriers and more.
For instance, yesterday, 28 ships were recorded in the Black Sea, 6 of which, as of today, were carrying Kalibr missiles, with a total salvo capacity of up to 23 missiles.
