Russia's Novosibirsk region declared a drone alert for the first time since the start of the full-scale war on Monday, July 6. The region lies more than 3,500 kilometers (2,175 miles) from Ukraine, according to the Russian state news agency TASS.

A drone threat warning was issued across the Novosibirsk region for the first time, according to Russia's official emergency warning and response system.

Earlier on Monday, Ukrainian drones traveled up to 3,000 kilometers (1,864 miles) to strike the Omsk oil refinery for the first time since the start of the war.

According to Fire Point chief designer Denys Shtilerman, the strike was carried out using FP-1 drones, which are capable of reaching targets located up to 3,400 kilometers (2,113 miles) from Ukraine's state border.

Earlier on Monday, Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), together with other units of the Defense Forces, struck two Russian oil refineries and several key military facilities in Russian-occupied Crimea.

The targets included the Yaroslavl oil refinery, the NOVATEK Ust-Luga refinery, and a fuel terminal in Vysotsk. In Crimea, Ukrainian drones struck the Hvardiiske air base and a Pantsir-S2 air defense system.

Meanwhile, amid Ukraine's ongoing efforts to isolate Crimea, Russian forces on the occupied peninsula conducted command-post exercises, preparing to repel a potential Ukrainian amphibious landing.
