Russia hits Odesa and Mykolaiv regions with Shaheds
Russian terrorists have once again attacked southern Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones. As a result of the shelling, there were hits in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, according to the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians attacked southern Ukraine from the temporarily occupied Crimea and the eastern coast of the Azov Sea.
During two waves of attacks lasting 2 and 4 hours, Ukrainian air defense units managed to destroy 9 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs:
- 4 in the Odesa region;
- 4 in the Mykolaiv region;
- 1 in the Kherson region.
However, there are also hits.
Thus, in the Odesa region, the Russians hit an open area of an infrastructure facility. The resulting fire was promptly extinguished. There were no casualties.
In the Mykolaiv region, a shell hit an industrial facility and damaged warehouse buildings. No casualties were reported.
Russian attack on Ukraine on December 26
The Russian occupation forces struck Ukraine with Shahed attack drones tonight, December 26.
The Russian terrorists fired 19 Shahed-136/131 drones at Ukraine from the areas of Balaklava - Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia.
The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 13 Shaheds in Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Also last night, tactical aviation of the Ukrainian Air Force attacked a large landing ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Novocherkassk near Feodosia with cruise missiles.
