Russia hands Ukraine a memo on ceasefire through Türkiye, sources say

Russia's team handed over a memorandum to Ukraine through Türkiye, RBC-Ukraine sources say.
They added that this time the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, "told much less fantasy stories at the talks."
Russia's memorandum on the ceasefire
At the negotiations in Istanbul on May 16, the delegations of Ukraine and Russia agreed to prepare written proposals for a possible ceasefire.
After a call with US President Donald Trump, the Kremlin head, Vladimir Putin, said that Moscow was working on a memorandum in which it would outline its own vision of a peaceful settlement, including potential terms for ending the war.
On May 24, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that the preparation of the document was almost complete. It sets out Moscow's key positions on the cessation of hostilities, according to Russians. Ukraine has not received that document.
The Office of the President of Ukraine is concerned that Russia may include unacceptable conditions in the memorandum that would actually mean the loss of part of its sovereignty.
