Russia has failed to meet another deadline set by Putin to capture Pokrovsk and Kupiansk. Both cities remain under the control of Ukraine's Defense Forces, said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy reported that during a meeting with Ukraine's entire defense and security sector, officials from the Defense Intelligence and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine provided briefings. Defense Intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov reported on Russia's plans and the timelines the enemy set for capturing the cities.

"At this point, Russia has failed to meet yet another deadline set by Putin for the capture of Pokrovsk and Kupiansk, and those deadlines have been pushed back once again," the president said.

Oleh Ivashchenko, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, briefed on the economic and political situation in Russia, public sentiment in Russian society, and within the inner circle of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Zelenskyy said that relevant conclusions have been drawn.

"We have identified the main priorities for our defense in the coming weeks and will also expand the defensive operations plan for the winter months. We will continue applying our long-range sanctions as well – our special services, and primarily the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as the Ukrainian army, have the relevant tasks," the president said, adding that diplomatic efforts will also intensify.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces destroyed the road connecting Selydove and Pokrovsk, cutting off Russian troops' ability to use this route to infiltrate the city with light equipment.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces continue concentrating their main efforts on the Pokrovsk direction. From November 10 to 15, the Russian army lost 524 personnel in attempts to capture the city, with 260 more wounded. These are visually confirmed enemy losses.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces are making gains and gradually pushing Russian forces out of the city, which they had managed to infiltrate back in September. The enemy suffers heavy losses in attempts to occupy the city.
