The Russian massive assault on Pokrovsk using light vehicles, which took place recently along the Selidove–Pokrovsk highway, achieved partial success, according to the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

Situation in Pokrovsk

"The enemy's massive assault on Pokrovsk with light vehicles, which took place recently along the Selidove–Pokrovsk highway, achieved partial success. Some of the vehicles were destroyed on the approaches to Pokrovsk, while others were taken out within the city itself. Search-and-strike operations continue," the report said.

It was noted that just yesterday, November 11, the Defense Forces destroyed five motorcycles and five cars in Pokrovsk and on its outskirts.

The Defense Forces are also targeting enemy firing positions that Russian troops managed to set up in certain parts of Pokrovsk in recent days.

Situation in Myrnohrad

Meanwhile, in Myrnohrad, the enemy continues to pressure Ukrainian defenses with constant attacks, but has so far failed to enter the city. Logistics for Ukrainian troops are being maintained.

There are also reports that the enemy plans to attack Myrnohrad from the direction of Hrodivka using armored vehicles.

"The regular units of the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces are engaged in operations that improve the tactical situation for the defenders of the Pokrovsk agglomeration and allow them to complete their assigned tasks," the military said.

It was reported that in the Myrnohrad area, one brigade of the 7th Corps is repelling attacks by small enemy groups of 2–4 personnel, who are attempting around-the-clock to infiltrate the southeastern outskirts of the city.

The enemy is using Mavik drones to coordinate their movements and light vehicles, including motorcycles, for logistics.

Another Air Assault unit, working alongside neighboring forces, is holding back the enemy in Krasnyi Lyman. Russian troops see this settlement as a staging area for a northern assault on Myrnohrad. Airborne troops are destroying the occupiers and preventing them from executing their plan.

Footage released by the 7th Corps shows Russian vehicles being destroyed during the assault along the Selidove–Pokrovsk highway and within Pokrovsk itself.

Battles for Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad

The epicenter of fighting in the Donetsk region remains the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian forces are attempting to encircle the town from multiple directions and are deploying additional troops.

The Russian army took advantage of adverse weather conditions, including thick fog, to penetrate Pokrovsk. Currently, more than 300 Russian troops are in the city.

Recently, Mayor Andriy Kovalov, spokesperson for the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, told RBC-Ukraine that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are confidently holding their positions and destroying Russian soldiers on the approaches to Myrnohrad and within the urban areas of Pokrovsk.

The General Staff previously debunked Russian propaganda claims about an alleged encirclement of Pokrovsk.

The command stated that Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold positions within the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration, though the situation remains tense. Russian units have entered the city, but Ukrainian troops are actively fighting, pushing the Russian troops back.
