Russians failed the tests of their missiles as part of the "massive nuclear strike" training. Out of three missiles, only one took off, according to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksii Danilov.

"By the way, there were tests they recently conducted. Out of three missiles, only one was launched. One failed immediately, and the other one had devices that were supposed to open but they didn't," he said.

Training in Russia

Previously, the Kremlin boasted that they had conducted training for their strategic nuclear forces under the supervision of dictator Vladimir Putin.

According to Russians, they launched an intercontinental ballistic missile called Yars from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region to the Kura missile test range in Kamchatka.

Russian soldiers also launched a ballistic missile Sineva from the nuclear-powered submarine Tula in the Barents Sea

Russia recently withdrew its ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.
