Russia fabricates 'secret presidential election of Ukraine' in Alps: Reaction of Ukraine's intel

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SZR) has fabricated a fake story about a secret presidential election in Ukraine allegedly held in the Alps. This is an attempt by the enemy to escalate tensions in Ukraine, according to the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Telegram.
Russian disinformation
The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SZR) claimed that a secret meeting allegedly took place recently in the Alps between representatives of the US and the UK and Ukrainian officials — Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Chief of Defense Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov, and Ukraine’s Ambassador to the UK Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

The Russian intelligence fabricated a story that the US and the UK "decided to nominate Zaluzhnyi for the post of President of Ukraine."
The Russian SZR called their fantasy a "presidential election of Ukraine" at an Alpine resort.
Reaction of the Defense Intelligence
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine noted that this fake was "cobbled together" by the director of the Russian SZR, Sergey Naryshkin.
According to the Defense Intelligence, the Russians aim to:
-
escalate social tension in Ukraine;
-
sow distrust within Ukraine’s military-political leadership;
-
shift public attention from the war to the topic of elections;
-
provoke discord and reduce Ukraine’s ability to resist the Russian occupiers militarily.
The Russians also spread disinformation, accusing one of the Defense Intelligence servicemen of involvement in drug trafficking. This is yet another fake.
Russian fakes
Previously, Russian propagandists forged a photo from protests in Kyiv against the controversial law on NABU and SAP.
They circulated a fake photo from the protests showing a participant holding a poster with the word "ZOV."
