Russia drops five FAB bombs on Ukrainian city Kostiantynivka, injuring civilians

Today, August 25, 2025, from 11:20 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the Ukrainian city of Kostiantynivka, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported.
Against the civilian population, five FAB-250 bombs with UMPK modules were used. The residential area of the city was affected.
As a result of the attack, four civilians were injured: a 26-year-old man and three women aged 51, 74, and 85.
The injured were diagnosed with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, fractures, lacerations, and contusions. Two of them are in serious condition. All received qualified medical assistance.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kostiantynivka District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched on the fact of a war crime (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The Information Policy Department of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported that the investigation is ongoing and those responsible will be held accountable.
Strike on Kostiantynivka
On August 24, Ukraine's Independence Day, Russian forces struck the city of Kostiantynivka. Guided FAB-250 aerial bombs hit the center of the community.
The School of Arts, where a point of resilience was located, was particularly damaged.
