On Monday, September 25, Russian forces dropped four aerial bombs on Beryslav in the Kherson region of Ukraine. One of these bombs struck a housing maintenance office, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.

During the material preparation, such sources as the Telegram channel of the Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, and the Telegram channel of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office were used.

"Russian aviation attacked Beryslav in the morning. Occupiers dropped four aerial bombs on the town," Alexander Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said.

Prokudin stated that they were aware of one fatality and several wounded, with another aerial bomb having destroyed a residential building.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reports that the shelling of Beryslav is ongoing. One fatality and three injuries have been confirmed, with the possibility of people being trapped under debris.

"At around 10:00 AM, Russian military conducted an airstrike using guided aerial bombs, presumably from an SU-34 aircraft, targeting the Beryslav community in the Kherson region," the statement said.

Preliminary information indicates that one man has died, and three civilians have been injured due to the shelling.

"Enemy projectiles targeted a private residence and a municipal enterprise building. There may be people trapped under the debris. The shelling continues," the statement from the prosecutor's office noted.

The Beryslav District Prosecutor's Office of the Kherson region has initiated a pre-trial investigation into violating laws and customs of war combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Shelling of Beryslav, the Kherson region

Beryslav in the Kherson region has been constantly shelled by Russian forces, which partially occupied the Kherson region following Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Just yesterday, on September 24, Russian terrorists conducted an aviation strike on Beryslav, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to a law enforcement officer.

Additionally, approximately a week ago, on September 18, Russians attacked Beryslav in the Kherson region with a drone, dropping an explosive device near the bus station. Four citizens were injured in that incident.
