As of 06:00 Kyiv time on December 21, Russia has deployed 3 ships to the Black Sea. All of them are carriers of Kalibr-type cruise missiles, reports the Ukrainian Navy.

According to military information, the maximum possible salvo of missile carriers in the Black Sea consists of 24 Kalibr missiles.

At the same time, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov, meaning there is no threat.

However, 6 ships have been recorded in the Mediterranean Sea, 3 of which are carriers of Kalibr-type cruise missiles, with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles.

The Navy added that within the past day, in the interests of Russia, the following ships passed through the Kerch Strait:

  • to the Black Sea – 3 vessels, of which 1 continued towards the Bosporus Strait;
  • to the Sea of Azov – 4 vessels, of which 2 were moving from the Bosporus Strait.

"Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling automatic identification systems," the military concluded.

On December 11, British intelligence reported that Ukraine continues to successfully limit Russia's naval operations in the eastern part of the Black Sea. In particular, Ukraine is carrying out strikes.

This, in turn, leads the Russian side to perceive a threat from Ukraine. Thus, Ukraine continues to undermine the authority of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
