As of today, August 7, Russia could lose control over an area of up to 350 square kilometers in the Kursk region, according to the Agency.

According to Russian media, by Wednesday evening, the total area of territory lost by Russia in the Kursk region could have reached 350 square kilometers.

According to the Rybar telegram channel, which is close to the Ministry of Defense, by 6:00 p.m. Russia had already lost control of the western suburbs of Sudzha, as well as Guyevo, and Kurylivka, located south of Gornal.

In addition, the Russian forces have also allegedly lost Leonidovo and Lyubymivka, located in the northwest, and the village of Korenevo is under threat.

Battles in the Kursk region

For the second day in a row, Russia reports on fighting in the Kursk region, and in particular in the area of Sudzha. Some Russian media even claim that Russia has already lost control of several settlements.
