Russia complains about one of largest drone attacks on Moscow since start of war
In the urban district of Podolsk, the Russian Ministry of Defense's air defense forces repelled a drone attack targeting Moscow, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
According to Sobyanin, a total of 10 drones were shot down in the region.
"This is one of the largest attempts to attack Moscow using drones since the beginning of the war," Sobyanin stated.
Earlier, the mayor noted that there were no damages or casualties at the crash sites of the drone debris, and emergency services were actively working on the scene.

On the night of August 21, near the Russian city of Novoshakhtinsk, a large-scale fire broke out after an air defense missile was shot down.

Meanwhile, the US has reported that Russia is moving some troops to settlements in the Kursk region that have been captured by Ukrainian forces.
