Russia attacked Ukrnafta filling stations and production facilities in various regions using drones, according to the CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine (a leading enterprise in Ukraine's fuel and energy complex), Serhii Koretskyi.
According to Koretskyi, several Ukrnafta gas stations in the Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions came under attack.
During one of the Shahed drone strikes, a female employee was seriously injured and hospitalized in critical condition. The damaged gas stations have been shut down.
Gas facilities in the Poltava region
At night and in the morning, Russian drones struck production assets in the Poltava region. According to the company, there is significant damage to gas extraction and storage facilities. Part of the assets has been taken out of operation.
At one of the facilities, thanks to the prompt actions of rescuers from the State Emergency Service (DSNS) and specialists from Naftogaz, the fire was quickly extinguished. None of the staff or rescuers were injured.
An assessment of the scale of the destruction is ongoing.
In May, Russia completely destroyed one of Ukrnafta’s gas stations in the Dnipropetrovsk region during a combined strike involving ballistic missiles and drones.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 320 employees of the Naftogaz Group have been killed, including 19 in 2026. In just the first four months of this year, Koretskyi recorded 96 attacks on the company’s facilities.
