On the morning of October 4, Russians struck Sumy with guided aerial bombs. A high-rise building was damaged, and there were casualties, according to Artem Kobzar, the acting mayor of Sumy, and Oleh Hryhorov, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

Today, at around 7:50 a.m. Kyiv time, Russia struck the Zarichnyi district of Sumy with guided aerial bombs, damaging apartment buildings and cars.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, this morning Russia launched 5 guided aerial bombs at a residential area in the Sumy community. There were strikes near a high-rise building.

Power lines, gas supply lines, building facades, window and balcony glass, and cars parked near the buildings were also damaged.

At least five people were injured. Preliminary reports indicate that two of them sustained serious injuries.

On the night of October 4, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 135 strike drones and Banderol missiles from six directions. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down most of the Russian drones, but some struck their targets.
