Late in the evening on July 21, Russians carried out an air strike on the city of Sumy. As a result of the Russian strike, houses were damaged and there were casualties, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"Rescuers arrived at the scene, evacuated residents from damaged houses, rescued two citizens, extinguished fires, and surveyed the area," the report says.

Emergency services report that three people were wounded in the Russian airstrike, including one child. A total of 12 people sought medical assistance.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine also confirms that five apartment buildings and 18 cars in a shopping center were damaged as a result of the Russian attack.

Russian strike on Sumy

Russia regularly strikes city of Sumy.

In particular, on the afternoon of July 20, the town was attacked by a Russian drone. The attack damaged the windows of a residential building, a car, and the power grid. Some of the houses were left without electricity.

The Regional Military Administration also reported that a 7-year-old boy and his 34-year-old mother sought medical attention.
