Russian drones attack Ukraine's Sumy: Houses damaged, casualties reported

A Russian drone attacked Sumy, damaging residential buildings and the power grid. A mother and son asked for medical assistance, according to the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
Today, about an hour ago, a Russian drone attacked the Sumy community. The hit was recorded in the Zarichnyi district of Sumy.
Reportedly, the Russian attack damaged the windows of a residential building, a car, and the power grid.
The damage left some houses without electricity.

There were no severe injuries, but a 7-year-old boy and his 34-year-old mother, who were near the site of the explosion, sought medical attention.
Both were diagnosed with an acute stress reaction. The patients received medical care and are being treated on an outpatient basis.
The area is currently being examined, and the consequences of the Russian attack are being eliminated.
Russian attack on Sumy
On July 18, the Russians launched missile and drone strikes on Sumy, using shrapnel ammunition. Russia deliberately targets civilians using terrorist tactics.
Earlier, on July 14, the city also suffered three drone attacks. Then the Russians hit an educational institution, where six people were injured and the building was heavily damaged. In addition, a drone hit a medical facility.
