Russian occupiers attempted to eliminate the leadership of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned units simultaneously. This likely occurred during a meeting in the Donetsk region, according to Robert Brovdi, call sign Madyar, commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces.

Madyar said that he held a working meeting with the commanders of the unmanned units Phoenix, K-2, Madyar's Birds, Rarog, and Achilles.

He addressed the Russians, stating that we have assessed your attempt to stab us all at once yesterday. Madyar did not disclose any other details.

Robert Brovdi, known as Madyar, became the new commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces in June 2025. He replaced Vadym Sukharevskyi in this position.

Before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Brovdi was an entrepreneur, and in February 2022, he voluntarily joined the army. He founded the “Madjar's Birds” unit, which operated as part of the 251st Territorial Defense Battalion. The unit took part in battles for Bakhmut, Soledar, Blahodatne, and other areas.

Today, it is the 414th Separate Brigade of Strike Unmanned Aerial Systems within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In May 2025, Robert Brovdi was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.
