Russia attacks Ukraine with missiles and drones overnight: Air defense's work revealed
On the night of September 11, the Ukrainian Air Force successfully repelled a massive Russian air attack. 34 airborne attack vehicles were detected and tracked, according to the radio engineering troops.
Russia attacked with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Krasnodar region of Russia, two S-300 anti-aircraft missiles from the occupied Donetsk region, 6 Kh-31P anti-aircraft missiles from the Black Sea, and 25 Shahed attack drones launched from Kursk, Yeysk (Russia) and Crimea.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the Russian attack.
20 Russian drones were shot down. Another 5 Russian drones were lost on the territory of Ukraine, but there were no reports of casualties or damage.
Ukrainian air defenses were operating in Kyiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, Sumy, Dnipro and Poltava regions.

On the night of Tuesday, September 10, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with several missiles and dozens of Shahed-type kamikaze drones. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces successfully destroyed 38 Russian drones.
Russian drones tried to attack Kyiv from different directions, but all targets were shot down.
