Today, on September 1, the Russian military struck the center of Kurakhove. Many people suffered from the enemy attack, according to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the prosecutor's office, today the enemy struck again at the central part of Kurakhove. Russia probably used cannon artillery and Uragan MLRS against the civilian population.

As of 17:30, the number of wounded as a result of the shelling of the center of Kurakhove increased to 11 people. Among the injured are 5 women and 6 men. One person is in serious condition. Three more people died.
Apartment buildings, private houses, and cars were damaged in the town. The final number of victims is being established.
Earlier, Russian troops attacked Kurakhove in the Donetsk region on Friday, August 30. The shelling resulted in injuries.
Prior to that, on August 25, Russia attacked a hotel in Kramatorsk. At the time of the attack, foreign journalists were staying there. In addition, citizens of Ukraine, the United States, Latvia, Germany, and the United Kingdom were staying at the hotel.
