Today, on October 8, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. Several strikes were recorded in the city, according to Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov.

Russia struck industrial area of Kharkiv

“Russia struck the Industrial district of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. According to preliminary information, civilian production was damaged,” wrote the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

Injured reported

According to preliminary medical reports, at least 5 people were injured.

Russia struck several times

According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, there were several Russian strikes. At the same time, the type of weapon is currently being established. A large-scale fire broke out at the site of one of the strikes.

Syniehubov added that 11 victims are currently known, including:

  • 16-year-old child;
  • 3 in bad condition.

Russian shelling of Ukraine on October 8

On October 8, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops conducted strikes in Ukraine. At night, they launched:

  • 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea, aimed at the Odesa region;
  • 19 attack drones from the Russian city of Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

In the course of repelling the Russian attack, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 18 of these drones, and one drone returned to Russia.

That night, Russia also terrorized the Odesa region with drones. The attack resulted in a fire in a high-rise building in Chornomorsk.
