Russia attacks ambulance brigade in Kherson: Several injured
Today, on July 19, Russian troops dropped explosives from a drone on an ambulance crew in Kherson. Two medical workers were injured, according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
A 32-year-old paramedic and a 63-year-old driver were injured as a result of the Russian drone attack.
Both suffered contusions, blast, and craniocerebral injuries. Their condition is currently assessed as moderate.
“The injured are being provided with the necessary medical care,” the Kherson Regional Military Administration adds.
Russian shelling of Kherson
Russia occupied Kherson at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, but in the fall of 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine returned the city to Ukrainian control. The settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River were also liberated from the Russians.
Since then, Russians have been regularly shelling the administrative center from the left bank. For example, yesterday, on July 18, Russian troops shelled a high-rise building in Kherson, injuring three people, including a teenage girl.
