Russia attacked Odesa with drones, energy infrastructure, buildings damaged

Late on March 3, Russians attacked Odesa with strike drones. The attack caused damage and power outages, according to Odesa region Governor Oleh Kiper and the city's Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov.
"As a result of the strike, there is damage to the energy infrastructure. Currently, there are emergency power outages in parts of the city. Utility services have already started working to activate generators for critical infrastructure, including heating stations. Additional 'unbreakable points' are being set up (425 are already operating)," Kiper wrote.
Moreover, due to the falling debris and shockwaves, two private houses and a business center were damaged. No information regarding casualties has been reported so far.
Trukhanov also confirmed this information, posting relevant updates through his official sources.
"All relevant services are working to eliminate the aftermath of the attack. Law enforcement is documenting yet another crime by the Russians against the civilian population of Odessa," Kiper added.

The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration reported that as of now, four people have been injured as a result of the Russian attack. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance.
Unfortunately, three individuals, residents of private homes, sustained shrapnel wounds and fractures. They have been hospitalized in moderate condition. Another person, who was in a business center during the attack, suffered a concussion.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has released the first photos of the aftermath of the Russian attack on Odesa.
"The critical infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged. Fires broke out at several addresses and were promptly extinguished by firefighters. The difficulty in extinguishing the fires was due to the repeated air alert. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service worked with local residents," the message reads.
Over 80 rescuers and 17 fire trucks were involved in the response.
According to preliminary information, 4 people were injured as a result of the Russian attack.

"Four people were injured, two are in hospitals receiving medical care. Residential buildings and two private kindergartens were damaged," said Mayor Trukhanov.
He stated that damage to the energy infrastructure led to the shutdown of three boiler houses. However, they have now been powered up, restoring heat supply to homes.
"Utility services are working, and in the morning, emergency response centers will be set up where residents of affected buildings can apply for compensation," the mayor added.
