Russia approves post-war style uniforms for schoolchildren in occupied territories - NRC
Schoolchildren in secondary schools in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are now required to wear uniforms, according to a new law enacted by Russia, reports the National Resistance Center (NRC).
According to a statement from Rosstandart, the design of the uniform is not up for discussion. It will be durable, resistant to wear, and styled in a post-war fashion.
Olga Koludarova, the so-called Minister of Education for the DPR (Donetsk People's Republic), claimed that standardized clothing will emphasize the modesty of the students and purportedly improve the quality of education.
"However, the collaborator did not explain how clothing could affect the quality of education," the report noted.
The National Resistance Center (NRC) highlighted that this move towards uniformity and the suppression of any form of individuality among Ukrainians is another method of total influence and control over the population. The Kremlin, aware of this, unabashedly employs this tactic.
At the end of the article, the NRC called on people to help identify those who have collaborated with the Russian regime.
It is also noted that in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, schoolchildren and students no longer receive concessions. According to the NRC, children are now required to pay the full fare for public transportation.
