Russians cancel benefits for pupils and students in occupied Luhansk region
Pupils and students in the occupied Luhansk region no longer receive any benefits, particularly regarding public transportation, according to the National Resistance Center of Ukraine (NRC).
From now on, children will be able to travel to their educational institutions only if they pay the full fare. The lowest fare for passenger transport in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region is 20 Russian rubles.
"Parents of children who do not have the opportunity to study near their homes will have to add additional expenses to their budget. Or they will have to walk to school," the NRC reported.
At the end of the statement, the NRC called out Russian troops who are assisting in implementing what it described as inhumane policies in Ukraine. The information resource warned that the time for retribution for these crimes is inevitable.
"Each of you can help liberate Ukrainian lands from Russian invaders," the NRC emphasized, addressing traitors and enemies.
As previously reported, according to the National Resistance Center, the Russians are instructing teachers in the occupied territories of Ukraine to identify pro-Ukrainian children. In August, it was reported that relevant seminars for teachers had already been conducted.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Russian occupiers plan to organize internships for students under occupation. These internships will take place in workshops of the Russian Armed Forces, where young Ukrainians will be required to repair Russian troops' equipment.
