Russia and Iran may sign new partnership deal ahead of Trump’s inauguration
Russia and Iran may sign a new strategic partnership agreement. This is expected to happen ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration as President of the United States, according to Newsweek.
According to the media outlet, the new agreement between Tehran and Moscow signals an attempt by the two countries to join forces amid isolation on the global stage.

The new bilateral agreement is to replace a 20-year strategic deal signed between the countries in 2001 and renewed in 2020. It will include commitments to cooperate in energy, manufacturing, transportation, and agriculture.
