Rostov region reports missile attack, claims air defense success
On Wednesday, December 17, air defense systems were activated in Russia’s Rostov region amid reports of a missile attack, according to the Acting Governor of Rostov region, Yury Slyusar.
Slyusar claimed that 10 missiles were intercepted by Russia’s air defense.
Falling debris from the intercepted missiles caused a fire in a residential building in the village of Malaya Kamyanka, Kamensky district. Emergency services are working at the scene.
He also said that shrapnel damaged the windows in a house. Another missile fragment was found in the yard of a house.
According to the incoming reports, there were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the attack. Information about the damage is being clarified.

Earlier, we wrote that on November 29, explosions were heard in the Rostov region during an air attack using drones. A fire broke out at the Atlas oil depot near the town of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.
