Road mining attempt stopped: Ukraine eliminates Russian saboteurs in Kupiansk direction

Ukrainian paratroopers prevented the mining of territory near the village of Zahryzove in the Kupiansk direction, eliminating a group of Russian troops in a firefight, according to the 77th Separate Airmobile Naddniprianska Brigade of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces.
Zahryzove operation details
The military reports that soldiers from the 2nd Airmobile Battalion of the 77th Brigade quickly detected Russian troop movements. The enemy was attempting to plant mines near the settlement of Zahryzove to complicate maneuvering for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
To neutralize the threat, the Ukrainian command deployed bomber drones and an assault group. As a result of a brief clash, the enemy sabotage group was completely eliminated.
"Our paratroopers promptly detected the enemy's actions. Bomber drones and an assault group were timely deployed, and in a firefight, they destroyed the enemy," the brigade said.

The Air Assault Forces emphasized that, thanks to the decisive actions of Ukraine's defense forces, another Russian mining operation was thwarted and the threat neutralized.

Kupiansk direction
Russian forces regularly attempt to use sabotage groups in this direction to lay minefields and conduct reconnaissance.
Paratroopers of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces continue to hold their positions, promptly detecting enemy infantry reserves.
Frontline situation, Ukrainian Armed Forces' successes
Recently, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi summarized ongoing operations, noting that Ukrainian forces have retaken more territory than Russia has captured in the same period.
Units of the Air Assault Forces remain active not only in the east but are also carrying out counteroffensive operations in southern Ukraine.
Experts say that in certain areas of the front, Ukraine has achieved its fastest battlefield gains since the start of the year.
During these successful operations, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have liberated over 300 square kilometers of territory from the Russians, improving tactical positions across several directions.
