Residents in Russian city of Rostov-on-Don lack electricity and heating
In the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, residents in about a dozen buildings have been left without electricity. Some of these buildings also lack water and heating, reports the SHOT Telegram channel.
According to a source, power outages in the city began yesterday during the day, and in some buildings, heating and water were also cut off in the evening.
Accidents at power substations led to a partial power outage in Rostov-on-Don. Energy officials have promised to restore electricity in the affected buildings soon, but the timelines have been repeatedly delayed.
"The partial blackout was caused by several accidents at power substations. Donenergo promises to restore electricity in the affected buildings soon, but the specified timelines have been shifted several times, and repair work is ongoing," reported the channel.
Accidents at energy facilities in Russia
Earlier, we reported that certain districts in Moscow were left without electricity, water, and heating. At that time, the Russian capital experienced a temperature of -25 degrees Celsius.
There was also information about a fire that broke out on the territory of the Moscow power substation Chagino. Reports mentioned thick smoke and the ignition of a transformer, along with 120 liters of fuel.
By the way, the authorities of the Kursk region of Russia claimed an alleged shelling of the power substation and a subsequent power outage.
