Repeated explosions heard in Rivne amid Russian missile attack

On the morning of Monday, June 9, repeated explosions were heard in Rivne during a missile attack on Ukrainian territory, according to our correspondent.
Early in the morning, the Ukrainian Air Force reported a threat of cruise missiles launched by Russian forces. Initially, their trajectory was reported to be through the Chernihiv region toward Kyiv.
It was later clarified that several groups of missiles were moving through the Zhytomyr region toward Rivne and surrounding areas.
Explosions were later heard in Rivne.
Shortly before this, Rivne and the region came under a massive drone attack, during which there were also reports of a ballistic missile threat. Monitoring channels reported explosions in Rivne.
Massive attack across Ukraine on June 9
Ukraine is currently under a large-scale drone assault. Air raid sirens have been declared in multiple regions, and air defense systems are active. In addition, Russian forces reportedly launched a missile strike on the Odesa region.
As previously reported, an office building in Kyiv was damaged during a Russian drone attack overnight on June 9.
