Massive attack on Rivne region: Russia strikes with drones and missiles

Around 3 AM Kyiv time, powerful explosions were heard in Rivne. The city was attacked by two Kinzhal missiles and more than 20 drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
On the night of June 9, the Rivne region came under attack by Shahed drones and missiles, with air defense actively responding.
According to an RBC-Ukraine correspondent, Rivne and Dubno have not experienced such a massive strike before. Explosions were heard continuously.
At 12:09 AM Kyiv time, the mayor of Rivne warned that Russian drones were approaching the city and urged residents to take shelter. By 12:26 AM Kyiv time, drones had reached Dubno.
Around 3 AM Kyiv time, warnings were issued about the launch of Kinzhal missiles from a MiG-31K in the direction of Rivne. Residents reported hearing explosions just minutes later.
Local authorities have not yet disclosed the consequences of the attack.
Ukraine is under a large-scale drone assault on the night of June 9. At 11:27 PM Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that large groups of Shahed drones were entering the northern Sumy region from Russia’s Kursk and Bryansk regions.
Additionally, around 3 AM, a Russian MiG-31K, capable of carrying Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, was reported airborne.
