As a result of the Russian drone attack on the night of June 9, an office building in Kyiv was damaged, according to a statement from the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

According to him, an office building in the Darnytskyi district of the Ukrainian capital was damaged. Tkachenko emphasized that emergency services were dispatched to the scene.

"Emergency services are working on site. We are assessing the extent of the damage. Information is being clarified. The attack is ongoing," he said.

Tkachenko urged residents to remain in shelters, as drones are still approaching the capital and new UAVs are entering the region.

Nighttime Russian attack on Ukraine on June 9

A large-scale air raid alert was declared across Ukraine due to yet another Russian attack. The first UAVs were detected as early as 7:43 PM Kyiv time in the Sumy region. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, and the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that air defense systems were in operation.

The previous large-scale attack on the Ukrainian capital took place on the night of June 6. At that time, destruction and fires were recorded in six districts of Kyiv. There were casualties and injuries.
